Focus Area

CAI has a strong focus on research and development in four key areas: Autonomous Urban Mobility, AI for Space, Federated Learning, and CANCOG - our community AI platform for cancer research. To delve into the latest advances in these fields, you can explore the respective links below: Autonomous Urban Mobility, AI for Space, Federated Learning, and CANCOG - Community AI Platform for Cancer Research.Through our cutting-edge work in these areas, we strive to drive innovation and create impactful solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges facing society today.

AI for Space Initiative
AI for Space Initiative
To develop an in-house solution for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) leveraging cognitive computing. The solution will reduce human intervention, increase transparency, and trust in SSA information, and produce threat assessment reports for decision-makers. The solution will use inexpensive Commercially-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) optical sensor data, publicly available historical data on space-objects, and relevant information available in natural language as inputs to develop a resource-efficient solution.

CANCOG: A community AI platform for cancer research
CANCOG: A community AI platform for cancer research
To create a community AI platform called CANCOG within three years. This platform will contain benchmarking data, AI models, and leaderboards for various challenges related to image analytics, omics, and molecular modeling. Different aspects of cancer research will be addressed through these challenges, such as diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and drug discovery.
